How to Kill Ticks?
Ticks are not very hard to kill, as their armor is pretty weak. Any basic weapon can easily tear them down. The only drawback to Tick encounters is that they always come in groups, so you need to dodge their lunge attacks and not get caught while you take them down.
Tips to Farm Ticks
- First, in your loadout, add the Looting Mk. 2 augment to increase looting potential.
- Starting the raid at night will increase the multiplier while destroying Ticks.
- The best place to farm Ticks is at Stella Montis Cultural Archive and the Seed Vault.
- While in the Cultural Archive, look up at walls, ceilings, and doorways to find Tick spawns.
- If advancing to the Seed Vault, you can get here after passing through the Cultural Archive and taking the stairs or zipline down.
- There is a locked door near the stairs inside the Seed Vault. You need to collect a Fuel Cell found nearby and use it on the door. Inside is a great spawn point to farm multiple Ticks.
- Ticks will respawn between 3 to 5 minute intervals after leaving the area, so after clearing out one area, head back to the other area to farm Ticks.
