How to Disarm Landmines
The easiest way to disarm a landmine is to walk over to it, pick it up, and dispose of it. To do that, you need to have an empty slot in your inventory. Next, hold down the ALT key or use the aim button, then use the movement keys to slowly inch your way ahead. Once you are near the landmine, keep pressing E to pick it up. If the option doesn’t appear, continue to inch your way close to it until the landmine falls in your inventory.
You could reuse the landmine by placing it in front of other players, or toss it away. Another way to disarm landmines is to get a pistol and shoot at it from a distance. You will find pistols randomly within suitcases. If you haven’t found a pistol yet, then use your golf club to knock the landmine out of the area.

If the landmine is planted firmly in the ground, you cannot pick it up. The only option left is to shoot at it using a gun to set it off. Also, if your item bar is filled, you can’t pick up the landmine.
