Two Peas in a Pod Quest

The fishing rod is locked behind a quest that is handed out by the twins in Graveyard Keeper 2. But you can’t find the twins right away, as you need to talk to the merchant in the location marked above. He will tell you that he wishes he could buy fish samples from you, but the twins have taken away his fishing rod and haven’t returned it in a while. He will also tell you where to go look for them. This will start up the Two Peas in a Pod quest.

Next, following the instructions of the merchant, head south of the village and get across the bridge towards Twins Land. The Twins’ house is located close to the pier; just walk around until you find some workers building a large ship. You will hear the twins arguing and one of them walking away. Speak to the remaining twin, called Jeffry, and he will tell you to help mend his relationship with his brother first.
Unlocking the Potter’s Wheel

Find Jeffry near the Hangman’s House in the southern section of the village. Ask him about the fishing rod, but Jeffry will have other plans instead. He will ask you to hand over 6x clay plates while he searches around for the fishing rod. Now, you need to unlock the Potter’s Wheel and gather clay to create items out of clay.
To unlock the Pottery skill in Graveyard Keeper 2, head over to the Tech Tree and select the Building option. Keep looking down the list until you find the Pottery 1 skill, which requires 5x Green and 10x Red tech points. If you don’t have enough tech points, you can get them by researching various items in the Study Table down at the Alchemy Lab.
Crafting Clay Plates
Completing the research will unlock the recipe for Clay Plates and also give you the Pottery Wheel blueprint. Crafting the Pottery Wheel requires 1x Stone and 2x Wooden Planks. Place it down anywhere on your base to start using it. But you can’t use it without getting some clay first, and you will find your first clay deposit just southeast of your home.
Dig up the clay using your rusty shovel and bring it back to the potter’s wheel. You will require 2 clays to craft 3 plates, so gather 2 more clay to get 6 plates. Visit the twins again and hand over the clay plates to get the fishing rod. This will effectively end the quest and give you the fishing rod to use in the game.
