With the new pet expedition questline, you should be out on the hunt for all the new pets in Seven Deadly Sins: Origins. Unfortunately, capturing these pets isn’t easy, especially the Sulky Little Spoop.

Sulky Little Spoop Location​

The Sulky Little Spoop is located in Post Town Tala. You can’t find it easily, since you need to interact with its tombstone to summon it. Finding the tombstone was the hard part for me, since it’s quite easy to miss. I didn’t realise until much later that the tombstone isn’t at ground level.​

To find the Sulky Little Spoop tombstone, head northwest and get on top of the hill marked on the location above. You will spot a lone tombstone right on top. The tombstone will also have an engraving of a ghost.​

How to Summon Sulky Little Spoop​

Similar to the Dark Abyss Flare, you will require a unique material to summon this pet. Head over to your Makeshift Brazier and create the Pumpkin Candy. You will require one each of pumpkin, honey, and sugar to create 1x Pumpkin Candy. That’s all you need for now. ​

Next, set the time anywhere between 21:00 and 00:00. Head over to the tombstone and interact with it. The Sulku Little Spoop isn’t a tough fight, but the main challenge is to capture it. Add to that the 70% resistance to the capture rate, and you will have your hands full with this challenge. ​

How to Capture the Sulky Little Spoop​

The Sulky Little Spoop doesn’t have a lot of attacks, besides creating several doppelgangers, making it difficult to spot and capture the real one. Plus, it can stun you from time to time and paralyse you momentarily. What I liked to do here is to lower its HP just a bit above 0. Killing it will just add its entry to the codex, so we should avoid doing that. ​

I picked Merlin for the fight, but any DPS character will do here. Attack the creature just enough that its HP bar is at the lowest possible. Wait for all the dopplegangers to disappear by attacking all of them. If you had your eye on the original, then it would be easier to toss the Radiant or Brilliant Potion of Charm. ​

If it fails, quickly toss another potion before it multiplies. Keep doing this a handful of times until you have successfully captured it.​

Is capturing the Sulky Little Spoop necessary?​

Yes, if you plan on completing the pet expedition quest, then you will need the Sulky Little Spoop to gather Malachite Ore in the Sealed Domain.

​How do I get pumpkin, honey, and sugar?​

You can purchase sugar from Rodney the Food Merchant just west of Vanya City. Pumpkins can be gathered around Vanya city or purchased from other food merchants around the world. Honey is gathered by hitting the beehives on the trees around Post Town Tala.​

Can I consume Pumpkin Candy?​

Yes, consuming Pumpkin Candy will restore HP by 35% + 5070. It will also increase the attack of all allied heroes by 20% + 126. This will last 600 sec.

​The Sulky Little Spoop ran away. What do I do?​

You can redo this fight by resetting the time anywhere between 21:00 and 00:00, then summon the creature using another Pumpkin Candy at the tombstone.​

Why can’t I summon the Sulky Little Spoop?​

You need to craft the pumpkin candy at the makeshift brazier and use it for the summon. Also, you need to have World Level 4 to summon the pet.
