Key Points
- Most resources are found throughout Loftia City, but you can also find a few in Hanging Gardens.
- Some resources are found out in the open, while other times you need to break down items to get them.
- With these resources, you can craft several new items within all the new workbenches in the game.
Since Loftia offers a long list of items that require crafting, you will be on the lookout for several crafting materials along the way. You can also find crafting materials while exploring different locations, but some resources are harder to come by.

Loftia City Resource Locations

The first location you should look into while finding all early-game resources is all around Loftia City. Since this would also be your starting area, I recommend searching through each location and checking the floors and corners to find what you are looking for.
After collecting each resource, it will take anywhere between 3 – 5 in-game minutes to have it respawn. Here are the best areas where I could find the following items in Loftia.
All Construction Zone Resources
Resources available: Scrap wood and clay.
Right across from your starting location, go towards Estelle’s location and cross the road to find the Construction Site. This is a great place to collect scrap wood and clay for early game crafting. You can find several of them on the floor, up on the half-constructed buildings, and around dead ends and corners.
All Scrap Quarter Resources
Resources available: Metal scraps, plastic discards, and screws.
You will find the Scrap Quarters in the southwest section of the map. Upon entering the area, you can look around to find screws, plastic discards, and metal scraps. While plastic discards and screws can be seen easily during exploration, it’s not the same for metal scraps. The only way to get metal scraps is to break down the many machines, like washing machines, around the Scrap Quarter to get them.
All Solar Farm Resources
Resources available: Metal scraps, tires, glass cullets, and scrap wire.
The next area to explore is the northwestern section where the Solar Farm is. While the solar farm is quite cramped due to the many buildings here, I recommend checking around the base of each building and structure to find the above resources. While tires and scrap wires can be easily spotted, you can claim glass cullets from breaking down microwaves.
All The Hills Resources
Resources available: Berries, clay, plant fiber, and portobello mushroom.
The Hills is a great place to collect early-game organic items. You will find the Hills in the northeastern section of the map. While checking out the area, I would suggest getting on the grass and checking behind trees, rocky corners, and bushes to find most of the items.
Hanging Gardens Resource Locations
There are four new resources added to Loftia’s Hanging Gardens region. After taking your blimp over there, explore the areas here to locate Flax, Jute, Rattan, and Copper Scraps.
How to Get Flax, Jute, and Rattan
For flax and jute, I had a better time finding them around Windmill Island. Check the grassy areas to find them quickly. Rattan is commonly found around the Bamboo Forest, but you might also get them while exploring the Upper Village. You can’t gather Rattan normally, as you need to find long ferns in the wilderness and cut them using Pruners.
How to Get Copper Scraps
Copper scraps, on the other hand, require you to break down different items to get them. Breaking down Rusty Tools is the most common way to get copper scraps. Or you could break any mineral nodes and have a chance of dropping copper scraps.
This requires a Hammer Lv.2, and you could also get other materials like salt and bauxite ores from these nodes too. If you locate crates in the overworld, break them to get a random resource, which includes copper. You can also try fishing out copper scraps, but the chance of getting copper scraps this way in Loftia is very slim.
