How to Find and Unlock the Shed
The shed is a large wooden structure outside the main house. It is found across all maps, and is sometimes beside the greenhouse. If you get the objective to unlock the shed, then you would be on the lookout for the shed key. The shed key only spawns inside the main house, and it will appear inside drawers most of the time. During my run, I found the shed key inside the drawer in the dining room.
The shed key doesn’t have a fixed spawn point, so you have to do a lot of scavenging to get the key. Once you have the key, all you need to do is walk up to the shed door and press the key against the door. This will unlock the shed door, and you can get the contents inside.
Other Ways to Unlock the Shed
The task doesn’t specify that you will require the shed key to unlock the shed. You just need to have it open. I found that getting a grapple gun is useful here, as I could scale the side of the shed and climb up the window ledge. I could then break open the window and get inside. If you have the climbing gloves, you can use those too to get up to the window.
Another way to get inside the shed is to have someone jump on the door’s latch. This is a much trickier option, and the height could kill you. But if you want to try, get up to the roof of the shed and position yourself right above the door’s lock. Pace yourself and jump down while extending your hands to latch on to the lock. If successful, you can easily unlock the door without the key.
