Key Points
- The minicopter task requires you to add three different parts to the minicopter.
- You will find the minicopter inside the garage, but you need to unlock the garage door first.
- After adding the parts to the minicopter, you can take it for a test run outside.
Some tasks in Burglin Gnomes won’t have a lot of clear explanations, so you need to work your way through what little information you have. When it comes to building a minicopter, you need to complete several other steps beforehand.

How to Assemble the Minicopter

The Minicopter task will appear when you load into the Mountaintop map. If you check your task list, you will see the objective to randomly assemble a minicopter. You will also find a helipad at your exfil site, and right beside the helipad is the garage where the minicopter is.
Luckily, you don’t need to build the minicopter from scratch, as it is almost partially built. You just need to procure three parts to complete the minicopter build. But before we get into that, you need to find a way to unlock the garage.
How to Unlock the Garage

The only way to unlock the garage is to find the remote control for the garage door. This is a random spawn, so you might have to look inside the house to find it. During my first run, I found the garage door control inside a drawer in the bathroom. But in my next run, I found it inside the kitchen drawer.
As long as you can evade the Old Man and the enemies inside the house, you should have enough time to check all the drawers, cabinets, and other hidden areas to find the garage remote.
Getting the Grapple Gun

I recommend getting a grapple gun before loading into the match. Crafting a grapple gun will require 3x Clonk and 2x Gnomium. You can get clonks by following our guide for getting clonks in Burglin’ Gnomes. As for Gnomium, you will only get them after clearing a match and getting back home. If you have completed most of the tasks, you will be rewarded with a certain amount of Gnomium.
Building the Minicopter

After crafting the grapple gun, load it into a match and find the garage door remote. Get the remote out of the house and use it in front of the garage to unlock it. You will find an almost completed mini helicopter inside. The three parts that you need to find to complete the device are:
- 2x spark plugs
- 1x crank
- 1x drive shaft
You will find all these items inside the garage, on the large two-tiered shelf near the garage entrance. This is where the grapple gun comes in handy, as you can easily scale the racks and pick up the items. If you don’t have the grapple gun, I found another way to get to the shelves.
I had a friend hold the remote up towards the shelf, then I hopped on it and jumped upwards. Extending my hands helped me grab on to the upper shelf and hoist myself up.
Using the Minicopter
While exploring the top and bottom shelves, toss all the items on them down below so your friends can work on attaching the items to the minicopter. Once done, the task will be checked out in your task list, and you can use the minicopter to fly out of there. Do be warned that the minicopter is bugged at the moment, as my friends and I couldn’t navigate the chopper properly and ended up crash landing.

FAQs
My minicopter doesn’t start. What do I do?
Make sure you have all the parts fixed in the minicopter. Select the minicopter task in the task list to find out if you have all the right parts. Then, hop onto the minicopter and pull the handle to have it run and fly outside.
I can’t find the garage remote. What do I do?
Keep checking all the rooms inside the house, especially inside the cabinets and drawers. If you still can’t find the remote, then quit the match and load into another match to get a new set of tasks.
Is it necessary to complete the minicopter task?
It depends on you and your teammates. If you have enough time left on the clock and you can unlock the garage door, then you can quickly attach all the minicopter parts to complete the task.
