All Wild Animal Locations in Heartopia
Wild Animal # 1 | Alpaca
Alpacas in Heartopia appear in the Flower Field area, on the elevated hills that face Purple Light Beach. You will recognize the spot immediately, thanks to the massive inflatable rubber duck nearby.
The alpaca trough is positioned at the top of the slope that leads toward the beach, just off the main trail and close to the bridge crossing the river on the southern side. To attract alpacas, make sure to fill the trough with blueberries.

Wild Animal # 2 | Bunny
Bunnies are unique in Heartopia because they are the only wild animals found near the town centre rather than out in the far regions. They inhabit the south-western outskirts of town, along the route that leads toward the Flower Fields, as shown in the image above.
Their trough is located slightly off the main path, with a small pond lying to the south and a bus stop positioned to the north. To draw bunnies to the area, be sure to fill the trough with blueberries.
Wild Animal # 3 | Capybara
Capybaras in Heartopia can be found in the Onsen Mountain area, along the higher sections of the trail beyond the geyser pool. The capybara trough is located at the edge of a crescent-shaped pool where these animals gather.
You’ll find this area in the north-western mountains, just to the east of the nearby ruins. To attract capybaras, fill the trough with tomatoes.
Wild Animal # 4 | Ferret
Ferrets are some of the hardest wild animals to spot in Heartopia because they wander over a wide area, and their trough can be easy to overlook. To locate them, make your way to the Flower Field region and find the northernmost windmill near the river bridge.
From the bridge, follow the path that runs past the windmill to find the ferret trough. To lure ferrets, fill the trough with striped red mullet.
Wild Animal # 5 | Fox
In Heartopia, foxes can be found in the central part of the Flower Field region, close to Meadow Lake. To locate their trough, go to the southern edge of the lake and spot the windmill across the path.
The fox trough sits at the bottom of the flower-covered hill where the windmill stands, making it easy to notice once you arrive. To befriend the foxes, fill the trough with blueberries.
Wild Animal # 6 | Panda
In Heartopia, pandas are found along the southern edge of the Forest region, near the Jump Puzzle area, surrounded by bamboo. To reach their trough, make your way to the stairs leading up to the Jump Puzzle platforms. Facing the stairs, you’ll see the panda trough on the right side, tucked under the shade of bamboo and crafted to resemble a large bamboo stalk. To befriend the pandas, fill the trough with bamboo.

Sea otters are among the simplest wild animals to spot in Heartopia because of their well-known location, as shown in the image above. They can be seen lounging on the rocks between the two piers in the Fishing Village. The sea otter trough is set up right next to their favorite hangout. To befriend them, fill the trough with fish such as sardines or striped red mullet.

Silka deer roam the Forest region of Heartopia, usually near the lakes tucked into the inner parts of the map. To find their trough, go to Forest Lake and follow the shoreline. The trough is positioned near the center of the lake’s eastern curve, right by the water and just across the path. To befriend the silka deer, fill the trough with tomatoes.
