Heartopia has been making all the right noises in the crowded cozy life sim genre, and has tried to carve out its own identity – by essentially mixing and matching gameplay mechanics from all the known ones in the genre, and a couple outside the genre too. The game first released on Jan 7th for mobile, and then about a week later for PC. It has been enjoying a steady player count on SteamDB, which has been kept alive through a variety of events and seasonal activities.
