If you are a sword enthusiast, then you would be on the lookout to collect as many weapons as possible. The Arben Greatsword isn’t visible in plain sight, nor will you get it from quests. Rather, you will get this weapon through exploration, and the location where you should head over to is quite obscure.

How to Get the Arben Greatsword
Getting this greatsword was a bit tricky, as it is well hidden in an underground area. Make your way to Horseshoe Lake between Demeniss and Delesyia. Within the lake is an island. Once you step on the island, you will spot a large tree surrounded by vines. You can use Blinding Flash here to tear down the vines, or you can follow what I did and use a Fire Arrow.
Whichever method you pick, you can easily burn through the vines. Once you do that, you will spot an underground path covered by a hatch. Pull up the hatch and jump all the way down inside Burrow Cave to find the Arben Greatsword. It is located within the treasures littered at the bottom of the tunnel.
How to Use the Arben Greatsword
The Arben Greatsword is specifically meant for Damiane, one of the three playable characters in the game. If you don’t have a good weapon for her yet, you can come to this location very early in the game and get this sword if you wish to use Damiane during your gameplay. If you haven’t unlocked Damiane yet, you will get her after clearing Chapter 3.
Besides using this sword for Damiane, the Arben Greatsword also offers substantial attack power. Plus, with 5 Abyss Slots, you can customize your weapon to add buffs and debuffs. In terms of other weapons in the game, the Arben Greatsword might not score too well, but it is a great addition for early gameplay.
