Palia’s Fall’s Faire: Frights & Delights event now introduces a new bulletin board questline. There are a few different tasks to complete as part of the event, and the first task could leave you stumped right from the start. If you are having a hard time trying to find Ectoplasm and Tattered Cloth, then this guide is for you.

Preparation Before Farming Ectoplasm and Tattered Cloth
First, you need to equip some items to increase the chances of the item dropping before heading out. I personally prefer equipping Amadeus’ Blessing to increase the drop rate of the item. Along with that, I would suggest pairing it with Titan’s Brew for additional strength to tackle Jaakcats and break down Amber rocks.
But you could also go for Halward’s Blessing to increase the effectiveness of your Royal Arrow, since you will require these arrow types to break down Amber-touched resources. Also carry several Royal Arrows with you.
How to Get Ectoplasm and Tattered Cloth
After that, head over to Royal Highlands and start farming any foliage that grows around the area. Items like Mountain Morel, when picked up, have a chance to drop Ectoplasm. Sometimes, you could get Ectoplasm drops from breaking down the Amber rocks.
As for Tattered Cloth, this is a very rare drop from Jaakcats, especially from Hollow or Midnight Jaakcats. While hunting Jaakcats, look for the ones with pumpkins on their heads or the ones that split. These creatures spawn across the map, so there are no fixed points to find them. It might take several hours to farm them, so keep hunting down Jaakcats until you get the required amount.
How to Get Elderwood Lotus and Shmole Spore
Suppose you are looking to gather the other two materials for the first task in the Ghost Fluster event. Make your way to Mauvais Way and hunt down Shmoles to get Shmole Spores. Elderwood Lotuses are quite rare and only spawn near the shores of the water bodies, so keep checking the water bodies until you find them. I suggest checking your chat frequently and asking your friends for any Elderwood Lotus sightings nearby.
