RE9 – How to Get the Bloodlust Trophy

By Kirthana KMarch 2, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • For the Bloodlust trophy, you need to collect 5000 microsamples of infected blood.
    • You need to collect the samples using the blood collector.
    • While this will take several hours to collect, there is a faster way to get this trophy.

Getting to the end of Resident Evil Requiem isn’t all there is to the game. You can also find collectibles and unlock secret trophies during your run. One of the tougher trophies to unlock is the Bloodlust trophy, which will take several playthroughs to actually accumulate the required amount of infected blood samples.

How to Get the Bloodlust Trophy Quickly

    Step #1

Using the blood collector to get samples will take several in-game hours to collect the required amount. To complete this trophy quickly, you don’t have to use the blood collector at all. Rather, collect as many Transfusion Bags as possible by killing enemies. Do not use the Transfusion Bags; keep them stored in your inventory and collect as many as possible.

    Step #2

Next, head over to any save station and save your game first. Open your inventory after that and use up your Transfusion Bags. You need to use up just enough that the blood collector is almost full. Then, interact with the blood collector and craft random items.

    Step #3

Continue to craft until you get no more crafting options, then use up any remaining transfusion bags to bring the amount of blood up in the blood collector. Rinse and repeat this step several times until you run out of transfusion bags. Now, reload your save file and repeat all the above steps.

If you check your achievements page, your blood count will not reset but will rather increase. Doing this a handful of times will unlock the achievement quickly.

    FAQs

What do I get for unlocking the Bloodlust trophy?

You will get 10,000 CP to spend within the game.

Should I start using up my transfusion bags early in the game?

No, it is best to wait until you get a sizable amount of transfusion bags to fill up the blood collector.

How do I check my trophy progress?

Head over to the Challenges option in the pause menu to find all your trophies and related progress.

Which is the best place to get Transfusion Bags?

Once you reach the Central Refining System in the ARK, you can check out the containers within the Bioweapon Repository 05 and the Clean Room to get Transfusion Bags. There is a safe room nearby to save your game and redo the process over again.
