How to Invite Friends
Inviting friends to your game is pretty simple. After loading into the game, you will find several plus icons on the left side of the screen. Click on it to find a list of all your Steam friends. Select the friend with whom you wish to play and send them an invite. Now all you need to do is wait for them to accept the invite to have them join your game.
Another way to have friends join you is by sending them a code. Press the plus icon on the left side of the screen again and click on the Join With Code option at the top. You will find your code within the new pop-up box. Share the code with your friends so they can join you.
How to Join Servers
The process of joining servers is similar to inviting friends. You could either wait for a friend to send you an invite or have them share their code with you. If you have a code, head into the Join With Code menu and input the code into the blank area. If correct, you get to join their server instantly and start playing if they are online.
How to Change Server
If you notice that your current server is lagging or isn’t playable, you can change your server to continue playing. To do that, head into the game’s main menu and press the Esc key. This will bring up the taskbar on the side. Select the option to Change Region, after which you will be promptly taken to the main loading screen.
Over here, select the region list in the bottom left corner to get a list of active servers. Select the server that offers the highest connectivity and lowest ping. You can log in to your game and continue adding friends to play with. They will join your new server after accepting your request or using your code.

How do I leave my team?
Click on the plus icon on the left side of the main menu and select the Leave Crew option to leave your current team. If you are the host, the team will be disbanded.

Press the Esc key to bring up the side menu and select the Leave Expedition option to leave your current game and team.
