How to Get 3 Stars for the Horizon Kaido Trailblazer
Obtaining 3 Stars for this particular route will require careful planning, as you need to start from the northernmost section of the map and make it to the main city down south. And you need to do all this within 350 seconds, or around 5 minutes.
Tips and Tricks
Before beginning the race, I took my time scrolling through my list of collected cars to pick out the fastest one available. The 1999 Dodge Viper GTS Forza Edition worked for me, but any car that offers 230 – 250 miles/hour would do. Also, as an added bonus, off-road cars are recommended for this race.
Something to keep in mind for the race is that if your car flips over or gets stuck, you have the option to rewind to your previous spot. This won’t hamper the time limit, so use this hack to your advantage. Also, check your map frequently to keep track of where you are going. Adding markers along the way will help with that, too.
Starting the Race

Now comes the hard part, which is planning your route. I kept my target on the flower valley, a bit southwest of my starting location. From the flower valley, I found two possible routes to take that helped me get to the finish line.
Route 1 is more offbeat and will require a sturdy vehicle that can handle jumps. Route 2 will take you straight to the highway, which requires a vehicle with more speed. After starting the race, go off track and make a straight beehive to the flower valley to the south.
Be careful not to get caught under the bridge along the way or at the village before the flower valley. It would be great to go off-road to the left or right again to avoid these obstructions before reaching the valley.
Right at the edge of the flower valley, you could either take the southern road that goes southwest or take the route east of the flower valley to head straight to the highway.
Route 1

If taking the road southwest, while going down, take a sharp left to the dragstrip right before the tunnel. Do not enter the tunnel under any circumstances, as you can get stuck. Enter the dragstrip through the opening at the back and keep going south.

Then, go off-road until you reach the marked area above filled with buildings. Follow the road passing through these buildings and continue through the city to find the finish line to your right.
Route 2

If you are taking the eastern route from the flower valley, you will get into the tunnel. Go through it and enter the second tunnel to the Ito Region. Now all you need to do is follow the highway into the Minamino Region and head straight into Tokyo City to reach your destination.

There is a bug where you need to enter the finishing zone from the north to collect the flares, as going to the finish line from any other direction will not allow you to complete the race.
What other cars can I use for the race?
The ’94 MX-5 FE is another great car that helps cut tight corners and provides ample speed once upgraded.
I still can’t reach the finish line on time. What do I do?
Check your map and place markers to help you reach your destination quickly. You can keep checking your map throughout the race to help you plan the fastest route without the risk of losing time.
