Key Points
- You can now participate in the limited-time event where you summon Feebas and Milotic.
- But first, you need to collect Prism Scales and hand them over to Feebas to purchase new habitat items.
- With that, you can build two new habitats to get Feebas and Milotic to spawn at your base.
The Fetching Scales for Feebas event is the first event to grace Pokopia after the Bubbly Basin DLC. If you wish to own two new exotic Water Pokémon at your base, then you can finally claim Milotic and Feebas to appear.
Pokopia – Fetching Scales for Feebas Event Overview
| Event Dates | August 13 – August 28 |
| DLC Required | No |
| Time travel possible | No |
How to Start the Fetching Scales for Feebas Event
Since this is a limited-time event, you need to have a fully functioning base to start the event, and that includes building a Pokémon Center. Luckily, you don’t require the Bubbly Basin DLC for this one, so any Pokémon Center base in the overworld except for Cloud Island will work. I picked the Pokémon Center at Withering Wastes, but you could go to any completed Pokémon Center.
How to Complete the Fetching Scales for Feebas Event

Over here, you will meet Feebas, who has a request for you. You need to find Prism Scales and purchase decor items to build the Marine Leisure Activities habitat. Most of the time, you will find Prism Scales on any Dream Island. I had the most luck snagging several Prism Scales at Basin Dream Island, but you are not limited to just this island.
As long as you have a Doll, you can visit any Dream Island and find Prism Scales on land mostly. While searching, look out for bright pink and blue seashell items that will be clearly visible on the ground. Pick up as many as you can find, then return to Feebas at the Pokémon Center.
You can trade in the shells for new furniture items required to build the Marine Leisure Activity habitat and the new Exciting Beach habitat.
All Feebas Shop Items
You need to gather the following number of shells to purchase the required habitat items.
| Item | Cost |
| Swim Ring | 5 |
| Cooler | 10 |
| Sand Bed | 10 |
| Big Swim Ring | 10 |
| Floating Lantern | 10 |
| Beach Volleyball Set | 15 |
How to Summon Feebas and Milotic
The final step of the event is to build Milotic and Feebas’ habitats so they can move in permanently. Here are the requirements for each habitat.
- Marine Leisure Activity Habitat
- Swim Ring
- Cooler
- Volleyball Beach Set
- Exciting Beach Habitat
- Sand Bed
- Big Swim Ring
You need to collect all the items and place them close together to create the habitat. After that, wait for a while until you can find Milotic in the Marine Leisure Activity habitat and Feebas in the Exciting Beach habitat. Both of these are Water-type Pokémon and can be used in fields to water plants.
FAQs
Can I move Feebas and Milotic to Bubble Basin?
Yes, once the event is over, you can build their habitats in Bubble Basin and move them over.
I want to get the new furniture items but don’t want to spend time finding the Prism Scales. What do I do?
You can visit your friends who have the new furniture set and take a photo of it, after which you can take it back to your 3D printer and print it out.
Why can’t I find Feebas in the Bubbly Basin?
Bubbly Basin and Cloud Island are the only two places where Feebas do not spawn, so you need to visit other Pokémon Centers to find Feebas.
