ARC Raiders – Battening Down Quest Guide

ARC Raiders’ newest update, the Riven Tides Update, adds a brand-new map, new quests and a humongous new ARC threat to defeat. For the “Battening Down” quest, you need to visit the new map and complete three specific tasks. Accept this quest from Apollo at Speranza, then read on to find how to complete it easily in ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders – Battening Down Quest Overview

Photograph the Cracks Forming in the Sea Wall

For the first “Battening Down” quest objective, head east of the Port Authority Building POI at the northern part of Riven Tides, as shown in the image above. Stand near the wall east of the Port Authority Building, and you will get the prompt to “Take Photo”. Capture a quick photo and complete the first objective for this ARC Raiders quest.

Sample the Shoreline Near the Hotel Beach

For the next “Battening Down” objective, head to the Azzurro Beach POI located directly west of Seabed and Point Authority Building, towards the northwestern side of Riven Tides. Follow the shoreline towards the southwest, as shown in the image above, to encounter seaweeds on the ground. Approach it to have the “Sample Seaweed” prompt. Finish this task to complete the second objective for this quest.

Fix the Leaking Oil Pipe in the Northeast

Now, the final “Battening Down” quest objective is a bit of a doozy, as it took me more than a couple of tries to suss out the location of the leaking oil pipe in ARC Raiders. Head to the extreme northeast of Riven Tides, directly to the east of Wavebreaker, to find a large clearing. Walk along the wall near the sand to find two pipes embedded in the ground. Interact with any of them to fix the leaking pipe and conclude the “Battening Down” quest in ARC Raiders.
