As a pirate in Windrose, one of the things to look forward to is uncovering various treasure chests around the POIs. The good thing is that right away, in the Coastal Jungle area, the game gives you two of these in the Traveler’s Camp; one easily located and the other not so much. Here’s how to get both in Windrose.

Where to Find the Traveler’s Camp Chests
The Traveler’s Camp is a random encounter while exploring the first biome of the game – the Coastal Jungle. While checking out your map, hover your cursor over the various icons to find a marked location. This will lead you to the Traveler’s Camp. While over here, you will get an objective to find 2 treasure chests.
Chest #1 Location
This chest is the easiest to find, since it is located out in the open. Once you set foot in the camp area, you will find the chest near the tent’s entryway.
Chest #2 Location
The second chest is a bit tricky to find, but there was one clue that caught my eye. After uncovering chest #1, I discovered a secret note that held an important clue. armed with this knowledge, I looked around for a tree with a red cloth tied around it. It was quite close to the Traveler’s Camp, so I didn’t have any trouble finding it.
If you are still having a hard time, then there are two things you can do. If you are looking around for the tree when the sun is down, then using an oil lamp will help you see better. Otherwise, skip the time and try again during the daytime so the red cloth is more visible.
The trouble started when I realised that I had to dig to unearth the chest. That set me off to get myself a shovel. If you don’t have a shovel yet, take 3x copper ingots and 10x wood to the workbench. After collecting your shovel, return to the camp area.
Once you find the tree in question, bring out your shovel and enter Dig mode. Start digging around the tree until you spot something glinting in the dirt. Continue to dig the area to uncover the second chest and complete the objective.

You might have to dig deeper or further away from the tree to find the chest. Keep an eye out for something shiny in the ground and keep digging to uncover the chest.
What do the chests contain?
Chest #1 contains the Twist of Fancy note, which gives you a hint on where to locate chest #2. Chest #2 contains the following items:
- 5x Healing Potion
- 5x Greater Healing Potion
- 10x Homemade Gunpowder
