Key Points
- You need access to the Guard Tower and interact with the bed to take a long rest.
- Speak to Darrow to get the Tower Key after completing your conversation with him.
- You will find Darrow’s Nest at Upper Tolstad.
Since Esoteric Ebb requires spending a lot of time using your skills and abilities to track down the arsonist, you will find your abilities start to drain rather quickly. If you are low on health and stats, then you need to sleep for a period of time to recover. There is one designated section where you get to do just that.

Where to Find Darrow

After you exit the Temple, head down the stairs and continue west until you reach a flight of stairs going up. There will be a signboard that reads Darrow’s House. Enter the door on your left after getting up the stairs to find Magister Nicholas Darrow. Have a conversation with him to get the Tower Key, or steal the key from him before you speak to him. If you go with the latter option, he will confront you about it, but you will still get the key.
How to Long Rest
Exit Darrow’s home after completing your conversation with him and continue straight ahead. Enter the doorway leading to the inside of the tower to find a bed on the upper floor. All you need to do is interact with the bed to enter Long Rest.
