How to Unlock Druidcraft Cantrip
Head over to Goblin Garden in Lower Tolstad and speak to Nes’Wikkalla ‘Nessan’ of the Green. You will find her in the eastern lower section of Goblin Garden. While going through her dialogs, you will get the option to ask her to show her primal attunement for the Primal Kin quest.
You will require high wisdom to pass this dialogue choice. If you have the Shard of Jor, you can use it to upgrade your Wisdom stat and pass the skill check. Once you do, you will unlock the Druidcraft Cantrip to equip in your hotbar. Just visit your shrine to assign spells.
How to Use the Druidcraft Cantrip
Upon selecting the Druidcraft cantrip at the bottom of the screen, all vanishing gnomes will be visible within your immediate area. You can interact with them, steal items, or speak to them to receive unique dialogues. Stealing from them will only yield commonly found items, such as apples.

Yes, if you are successful in stealing from Nessan, you can claim the ‘Talk to Animals’ scroll. If you fail to pickpocket, it will result in death.
