Traces of Spring Event Guide
The Traces of the Spring event is a limited-time event, where you are required to fish and arrange your catch within the warehouse grid. Each time you add something to the grid, you can find all your accumulated points on top. The more points you get, the more rewards you earn. Also, you won’t get unlimited tries to add items to the warehouse. You need to strategically plan your way around the event to maximise your points.
How to Complete the Traces of Spring Event

Personally, the Black Bream fish offers the most points, and with this, you can earn 12 points per fish. To get as many fish as possible and increase your chances of getting the Black Bream, the game says to use Tai Chi near the rivers. But there is an even better method that worked for me.
First, pick your fishing spot to start fishing. I found the eastern docks of South Gate Avenue in Kaifeng and the rivers surrounding the Stonewash Strand waypoint in Qinghe to be some of the best places to fish. But all water bodies around Kaifeng and Qinghe will work. Make your way to any of these water bodies and step near the shoreline.
Instead of using Tai Chi to fish, use the fishing rod instead. While fishing, look out for the fishing bar to be larger than usual. This usually indicates that a bigger fish has caught the line, which mostly happens to be the Black Bream.
Arranging the Warehouse Grid

You will need 600 points to get all the rewards during the event, and you only get 10 chances to play the event per week. With the Black Bream, you can place four of them around the warehouse grid to get 48 points per attempt. If you are unsure of how to place them, refer to the image above. That will give you around 480 points per week. Repeat this step the next week to get an extra 480 points, which will bring your total up to 888, which is way beyond the target amount for the event.
