Arknights: Endfield – How To Make Explosives

By Kirthana KJanuary 30, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • You will require the Packaging Unit to create explosives.
    • To create explosives, the raw materials required are Amethyst Parts and Aketine Powder.
    • Once you create the Industrial Explosives, you get to carry them in your backpack.

Some features in Arknights Endfield are pretty self-explanatory. But once you get to a point of making explosives for a quest, the game stops handholding you. Creating explosives is one of those features that isn’t clearly explained, and you will require the right structures and materials to carry explosives on your character.

    How to Make Industrial Explosives

    • Progress through the game until you get to the point of researching the Packaging Unit blueprint. You will find this blueprint under the Packaging of Basic AIC II section.
    • Place the Packaging Unit at your base and check out the available recipes.
    • You will spot the recipe to create Industrial Explosive Production, which requires:
      • 5x Amethyst Parts
      • 1x Aketine Powder
    • With these, you get to create 1x Explosive, and it will take 10s to craft.

    How to Get Amethyst Parts

Amethyst is one of the early game resources that you would find in abundance across most regions. You need to find Amethyst nodes and collect Amethyst Ores. Feed the ores to the Refining Unit to collect Amethyst Fibers. Then, install a Fitting Unit at your base, which is obtained within the PAC facility construction, and add Amethyst Fibers to collect Amethyst Parts.

    How to Get Aketine Powder

As for Aketine Powder, you need to collect Aketine and feed it through the Shredding Unit to get Aketine Powder. The best place to find Aketine is around the Temporary Shelter, Valley Pass. You will find a few Aketine to the east of the area while going down the Abandoned Trail. Aketine will respawn in the same spot each time, which makes it a great farming area.
