Moonlighter 2 is all about finding relics in dungeons and selling them at your store. Dungeon runs in the game might seem easy to do, but later on, things will get difficult rather quickly. If you are looking for a quick escape, then you need to learn how to use the pendant.

How to Leave a Dungeon

There are three main dungeons to explore and collect relics for your store. But after exploring Kalina, The Gallery, and Aeolia, you need to find a way to get out of there with all your goods. Unlike Moonlighter, which requires you to use Merchant Emblems and Merchant Pendants at a certain cost, you can escape dungeons without any repercussions in Moonlighter 2.
To do so, take a look at the right-side corner to find a Pendant symbol. You will also find a keybind right next to it that shows which button to press to escape. It is usually the B key, so press and hold that down to activate the pendant. You will spot a circular green ring going around the pendant, and after the ring hits its starting point, you will be teleported back to base.
When to Use the Pendant
The best time to use the pendant to leave is if you have enough loot to run your store. I recommend completely looting the dungeon, getting rid of items of lower rarity, and only picking up the more expensive items. Once you are absolutely sure that you have enough, then use your pendant to leave. But if you think you are at risk of losing your collected items, then it is best to get out of there quickly.
The other time I recommend using the pendant is during combat. Luckily, you don’t face any consequences for leaving a battle midway, so you can quickly use the pendant to get yourself out of a sticky situation. This method also works for boss fights, so if you can’t face your target head-on, it is best to just leave for home.
As a last resort, you can use your pendant if you just want to get back home. You can do this any time, especially if you entered the wrong dungeon that you intended. There are no limits to how many times you utilize the pendant, so go ahead and use it anytime you are stuck.
