The Vanished Warder Quest Guide
You need to help Sly find his missing friend to gain his vote for the Admission to The Old Camp main story quest. You can find Sly in the western section of Old Camp. Speak to him, and he will tell you about his missing friend, Nek.
He will also tell you to talk to Fletcher at the Arena District to find out about Nek’s whereabouts. The arena is located all the way in the opposite direction from where you found Sly. Go all the way to the eastern end of Old Camp to find Fletcher standing by the edge of the platform.
Speak to him to learn more about Nek, but the only important clue you get next is to talk to Guy, the digger. To find Guy, you need to exit Old Camp through the southern point and make your way a bit east. Keep walking until you find a cave opening.
Enter the cave to find a corpse and check its body to get the Amulet of the Dead Guard. Return to Sly at the western section of Old Camp and speak to him. You can also speak to Fletcher before or after speaking to Sly to tell him that you found Nek’s dead body.
Give the Amulet to Sly or Not
I recommend giving the amulet to Sly, as keeping it will have a different consequence. If you wish to keep the amulet for yourself, the quest will remain unfinished, and Sly will continue to look for proof of Nek’s death. So, it is better to give him the amulet and close this quest for good. Plus, you will also gain Sly’s vote for admission to Old Camp.
