How to Find the Room the Key Opens in the Mystical Key Quest
The key you obtained from the old beggar during the “Trials of Kindness” quest is used to open the door to the Alchemist’s Chamber inside Hernand Castle. During the “Mystical Key” quest, enter the main castle, and use the first doorway to the right to head up to the second floor of the building, as shown in the image above.
As soon as you reach the second floor, enter the next hallway located to your right. If you’re confused, check the image above to pinpoint the location.
Inside the hallway, use the key on the first door to your left. This is the Alchemist’s Chamber. Head inside to complete the “find the room the key opens” objective during the “Mystical Key” quest in Crimson Desert. Before you get to this point, you need a way to get access to the Hernand Castle. With that said, let’s take a look at how to complete the “Mystical Key” quest.
How to Complete the Mystical Key Quest
The first objective is to examine the key given to you by the old man at the beginning of the “Mystical Key” quest. Open your inventory to examine it.
Next, head to the Hernand Castle and proceed to the Castle’s entrance to find some guards blocking your path. Equip the Hernandian Attire to get past the guards and enter the castle. After they open the gate, follow the path ahead until you reach another gate.
Here, the guards will take a good look at your outfit and let you through the gate. Next, head up the flight of stairs into the long corridor on your right, where you’ll begin the “find the room the key opens” objective. Since you already know where the room or the Alchemist’s Chamber is, head directly to it.
Inside the Chamber, open the treasure chest and go through the shining Abyss Gate to trigger a loading screen, which will take you to the Axiom Archive. This will complete the “Mystical Key” quest in Crimson Desert and lead you to your first Abyss puzzle in the “Abyss Without Balance” quest.
