Go Through the Skybridge Gate to the Heart of the Abyss
The first objective for the “Abyss Without Balance” quest in Crimson Desert is to get to the heart of the abyss by traversing the Skybridge. This is after you unlock Axiom Force with the help of Alustin inside the Axiom Archive during the “Polar Opposites” quest.
To conjure the path forward, I used Axiom Force on the Alignment Device on the left, which is basically a small pillar with a hole in the middle. Follow suit, and turn the centre of the pillar until it begins to glow. Then, let go to form the Skybridge with the floating platforms ahead.
Now the job was to cross the Skybridge. Use precision jumping for the following route, and I cannot stress this enough, since it’s too risky to eyeball your jump. So, follow the path ahead until you reach an intersection with two blocks going right. Take the path to the left on the platforms with greenery as shown in the image above, and keep moving forward.
For a Precision Jump, hold the left bumper (L1 for PlayStation) and press the (Square button for PlayStation).
Continue on the path forward and traverse from platform to platform with precision jumps. There were times when I felt I hit a dead end, and if you’re facing the same thing, all you need to do is wait for the floating platforms to arrive. These platforms will take you to the next location and give you the next objective for the “Abyss Without Balance” quest.
Activate the Abyss Nexus
Shortly after, you’ll be teleported to the Ethereal Pathway. Continue on the path forward to reach the next objective for the “Abyss Without Balance” quest, requesting you to activate the Abyss Nexus. This is an extremely important step, since you cannot learn the skill required for this quest if you skip this objective. So, step onto the pressure plate in front of you to complete it.
Remove the Wall Blocking the Floor
For the next “Abyss Without Balance” objective, remove the wall blocking the floor to continue the Ethereal Pathway Abyss puzzle. Use Axiom Force to grab the floating blue power core and move it to the deactivated lantern to your right. This will remove the floor, leading you to the next objective.
Synthesize the Abyss Cell
Drop down to the floor below to start solving the Ethereal Pathway Abyss puzzle and synthesize the Abyss Cell. First, use Axiom Force to grab the power core and drag it to the slot on the wall behind the shadowy figure to the right. If the power core doesn’t fit in the slot, rotate it until it matches the shape on the wall.
Next, observe the shadowy figure to learn the Force Palm skill. Use the Force Palm ability on the power core you inserted behind the shadowy figure to synthesize the Abyss Cell and complete this objective.
Activate the Abyss Power Supply
Finally, activate the Abyss power supply by climbing onto the platform above with the large circular doorway and hanging onto the large device, as shown in the image above. Then, use the Force Palm skill to activate the power supply. You’ll be flicked to your previous location, so climb up the stairs and follow the marker ahead to complete “Abyss Without Balance” in Crimson Desert.

What do I get for completing the “Abyss Without Balance” quest?
You won’t obtain any rewards until you talk to the woman in white. After that, you’ll receive the Faded Abyss Artifact to respec and a Palamar Pill to revive yourself when downed.
I cannot learn the Force Palm skill. Is the quest bugged for me?
No, this means you haven’t activated the Abyss Nexus, which is done by standing on the circular pressure plate when entering the area. If you do not activate it, the shadowy figure will not appear, and you won’t be able to complete the puzzle or the quest.
