How to Find Pumpkaboo
I recommend finding Pumpkaboo first in Pokopia to unlock her store and purchase the items required for Gourgeist’s habitat. Pumpkaboo automatically unlocks after downloading the update and starting Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprise event. You will get a notification after logging in that there is a surprise visitor at the Pokémon Center.
Head over there to find Pumpkaboo near the center and speak to her. She will kickstart the event, and she will also guide you on getting the limited-time event currency, Pumpkin Candy. You can gather Pumpkin Candy by visiting other Pokemon across the different regions in camouflage and tricking them.
You can turn into any random item while camouflaging yourself in front of different Pokemon, then reveal yourself to startle anyone watching and obtain candy from them. You can spend all your candy at Pumpkaboo’s store in the Pokemon Center to purchase new items for her habitat.
How to Build Pumpkaboo’s Habitat
Pumpkaboo won’t be a regular on your island, especially after the event ends. The only way to keep her here is to build her specialized habitat in Pokopia called “Give Me Something Good To Eat”. This requires the following items.

Now all you need to do is put everything together and wait for Pumpkaboo to move in. Put down the table first, then add the Candy Bucket on it. After that, place the Ghost Smoke Projector right beside the table. That way, you will permanently unlock Pumpkaboo to your island.
How to Find Gourgeist
Like most Pokémon in Pokopia, you can unlock Gourgeist by unlocking its habitat. You need to create a Creepy Pumpkins Habitat by purchasing the following items using candy at Pumpkaboo’s store. The items you require are:

First, put the Trevenant Streetlight down, then follow that up with the Pumpkin Lantern. Then place the Pumpkin Lantern Tower on top of the Pumpkin Lantern to create your new Grougeist habitat. Now all that’s left is to wait for it to spawn whenever it gets the chance.
