Crime Scene Cleaner Act 2 Secluded Retreat – How To Solve Monkey Puzzle

By Jordan BlakeMarch 27, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • The Monkey Puzzle is solved by matching statues to clues hidden in paintings across the Secluded Retreat.
    • Each painting represents a color theme, and is to be used to place the correct monkey on the podium.
    • The correct sequence has you placing the special monkeys in the right positions while leaving the remaining slots filled with normal statues.

Once you enter the Relaxation Zone for cleaning in Crime Scene Cleaner Act 2 Secluded Retreat, the game throws a puzzle involving monkey statues at you. However, knowing the correct order of placement is the tricky part in this puzzle. I figured it out after a few trial and errors. If you want to save some time, then read the article below.

This Monkey puzzle is part of the Secluded Retreat Secrets mission, with the others being finding the gardener, the alien secret quest, and finding the sewers with the duck. To solve the monkey puzzle, you actually need to observe the paintings present in the Secluded Retreat.

The first hint I found in the Relaxation Zone itself, with a dark pink colored painting of a samurai with the eyemask. Below it was the monkey with the eyemask, representing see no evil.

From this pattern, I got the hint of what the puzzle is trying to do. I explored the Secluded Retreat and found a painting of a girl with pearl earrings who is missing her mouth. Her painting was in blue, so I understood that the monkey with the ball gag (speak no evil) would go on the blue podium.

Finally, I found an orange colored painting on the first floor of the scream, implying the monkey with the headphones would go on the orange podium, representing hear no evil.

Going back to the Monkey Puzzle in the Relaxation Zone, the order of the podiums will be as follows:

    • Blue
    • Grey
    • Green
    • Dark Pink
    • Orange

From my earlier inferences, I placed the monkeys in the order given below:

    • Monkey with the ball gag (speak no evil)
    • Normal
    • Normal
    • Monkey with an eye mask (see no evil)
    • Monkey with the headphones (hear no evil)

By following these steps, you will successfully complete the Monkey Puzzle in Crime Scene Cleaner.
