How to Get the Auriferous Venomfang Mount in WoW Midnight 12.1

The new Auriferous Venomfang mount has made its way to WoW Midnight’s new update, and to own this new mount, you need to explore the Coiled Isle. Over here, there are several treasure chests to unlock and get rewards out of them. Unlocking all treasures will lead you one step closer to getting the mount.

​All Treasure Locations​

To get the new Auriferous Venomfang mount, you need to complete the Treasures of the Coiled Isle collection. There are 22 treasures to locate around Coiled Isle, and most of them are quite easy to spot. First, load into the Coiled Isle map, then start working your way from any of the points on the map mentioned below.

The Forum Treasure Locations​

Smoldering Incense Location​

I found this treasure chest within the ruins right in the center of the town. Head up the stairs to find it near the table.​

Possessed Vase Location​

From your previous location, head south towards the shipwreck near the shoreline. Hop on to the shipwreck and check the area near the stairs to find the treasure. ​

Fangbound Sack Location ​

Make your way east towards the Vaults of Atal’Ulek. From the vault entrance, go left through the hole in the wall to find this treasure.

​Profane Ritual Spoils Location​

I found this treasure by heading up the road and up the mountain behind the vault. Once you reach the green poisoned river, walk along the shoreline to find the Profane Ritual altar. You need to pick up the trinkets on the table in the correct order to get the treasure. Here is the order of the trinket collection that worked for me: top-right> top-left> bottom-right> bottom-left. Collect the treasure after this.​

Blistering Terrace Treasure Locations​

Zul’jan’s Stash Location​

This treasure is right out in the open after making your way to the top of the building. You would have reached this point as part of the main campaign. ​

Damaged Loa Trinket Location​

From your previous location, head southeast down the road. While walking down the road, look for a bone pile on the side. There will be a treasure chest here in plain sight. ​

Reward: Damaged Loa Trinket​.

Waterlogged Basket Location​

Keep walking down the road until you reach the bridge. Hop down to the river below the bridge where the large fish bone is. Pick up the treasure within the ribs. ​

Reward: Quiver of the Downed Marksman​.

Stinking Vessel Location​

Cross the bridge and continue down the road until you reach the edge of Tokka’s Landing. You will find an altar on the grass. Interacting with it will give you the treasure. ​

Reward: Stinking Vessel Decor​.

Tarnished Amani Glave Location​

Make your way east after collecting the previous treasure. Go across the poison river to find another bone pile. Pick up the treasure nearby.

Tokka’s Landing Treasure Locations​

Cracked Skull Location ​

If you head south from your previous location, you will find a small hill. At the base of the hill is a shrine, and right beside the shrine is the treasure. ​

Reward: Cracked Skull​.

Vul’zhan’s Smuggled Treasure Location​

I found this treasure inside the large building near the last location, beside the large staircase. But it’s locked for now. To unlock it, interact with the guard standing nearby to get a small side quest. Complete the side quest to get the key and unlock the treasure chest.

Jaktu’s Cursed Blade Location​

At the southern edge of Tokka’s Landing, right near the shoreline, are some trees where you will find this treasure nearby.​

Reward: Jaktu’s Cursed Blade toy – Hunts down player corpses.​

Grave of Someone Forgotten

Make your way to the eastern section of Tokka’s Landing and head south, just after the makeshift bridge. Once you reach the location, you will find the spirit of a Forgotten Soldier. Speak to them, then find three other NPCs marked on the map above. Interact with all of them, then return to the grave of the Forgotten Soldier to loot it.

Reward: Forgotten Memento toy- will turn you into a Forgotten Amani Soldier.

Venomjade Necklace Location

At the very northeastern corner of Tokka’s Landing, in front of the bridge, is a building on the top section of the map. Enter the building and make your way to the back right corner, where the treasure is.

Reward: Venomjade Necklace accessory.

Ofl’s Hut Treasure Locations

Ornate Bottle Location

To the right side of the Ofl’s Hut writing, on the easternmost small island, is a broken shipwreck. Dive inside the shipwreck and go underwater to find the treasure in the corner.

Reward: Unlock the ornate bottle to get 5 potent healing potions.

Sunken Diver’s Chest Location

At the top right corner of the map, on the larger lone island, head over to the northwestern corner. Before making your way to the chest, dive underwater and kill three Glittering Grouper Brinetails. These fishes will drop pieces of the Sunken Diver’s Chest key. Forge the key in your inventory and use it on the chest underwater, in the same location.

Reward: Ancient Amani Mask toy – a mask that can be worn.

Gnarldor Nile Treasure Locations​

Forgotten Mask Location​

There is just one treasure to find in this region. Make your way to the eastern section of the island. Once you get off the connecting bridge, look to your left to find a broken rune. Check the crevice of the rune to find the treasure. ​

The Ring of Glory Treasure Locations​

Brine Crusted Chest Location​

Right at the southern section of the isle, you will find a cave entrance. The treasure is inside the cave, but you will require a key for it. Dive into the water to find Bubbling Clams and check them all until you get the luminescent Pearl. Hand it over to the crab inside the cave to get the key.​

Reward: Pearl of Jubilation toy – Turns you into a crab.​

Lost Spirit Location​

Make your way to the central town and visit the building in the southern section of the town. You will find a spirit on top of one of the large braziers to the west of the building.

To make them talk, head back to the building on the right and explore the exterior until you find the Forgotten Trinket. Hand the trinket over to the spirit to have them give you the treasure.

​Reward: Effigy of the Ula’tek’s Faithful trinket and Forgotten Amani Urn decor item.​

Amani Privateer’s Cache Location​

Head over to the eastern section of the isle to find the treasure chest right near the edge of the shoreline. But this chest too requires a key. Out in the water, you will spot the Hungry Dolphin who holds the key. You need to gather Grisly Morsel fish from nearby and give it to the dolphin. ​

You also need to stay underwater the whole time. Then, once the dolphin is ready to follow you, make your way to the two marked locations shown above to spawn caches. Check them out to collect the two halves of the key, fuse them in your inventory, then return to the treasure chest to get the item.

​Reward: Idol of Blue Water and Blue Sky toy – Turns you into a dolphin to swim underwater.​

Malfunctioning Staff Location​

In the eastern corner, right where the island branches out a bit, is a chest right at the corner. ​

Reward: Malfunctioning Staff toy – summons an image of the original owner​.

Crumbling Urn Location​

You need to head up a bit to the north for this one, right above the Ring of Glory lettering. Visit the shrine here to pick up the treasure.

Check the area thoroughly to find the treasure chest. If you still can’t find it, restarting the game will work.

What do I do with all the rewards found inside the treasure chests?

You can sell the ones that you don’t need and keep the ones that you like. Most of them are purely cosmetic, so it doesn’t matter if you want to use them or not.
