How to Get Frontier Tokens
Frontier Tokens are an important currency to use in the game. Fortunately, you can gather quite a bit of it by doing certain events around the game. To farm more Frontier Tokens, all you need to do is visit the Announcement Board within non-loot areas. The Announcement Board unlocks at level 20, and you can find your first board at the capital of each region.
If you can’t find any Announcement Boards in the mainland, you can also check out the capital islands around each region to find non-loot areas. Check these areas to find the board and pick up the many quests available. Once you complete 5 quests, you will start a special timed event that drops double the Frontier Tokens upon completion.
The amount of tokens you get per quest will vary; it can go as low as 2 tokens or as high as 15 tokens. I recommend checking every Announcement Board in the region to find the highest token given quest.
How to Use Frontier Tokens
You need to find the Frontier Guard Commander to hand over the Frontier Tokens. You can find the commander within the starting towns of Ystad and Sera, right next to the Announcement Board. The commander will always be in the safe zone, and you can collect new recipes, weapons, and cases. They will cost quite a bit, so you need to complete multiple quests from the Announcement Board to gather the required amount of tokens.
Besides using it to buy items from the Frontier Guard Commander, you can also sell them at the market. This is a great way to get some quick cash if you own leftover Frontier Tokens. But it is always best to hold on to them and use them to buy items from the Commander.

Yes, you can participate in the various Sword events that show up on the map, as these too will drop Frontier Tokens.
What happens if I pick up quests from the loot zone Announcement Boards?
The boards in the loot zones will drop Champion Guild Tokens, which shouldn’t be confused with Frontier Tokens. These tokens have a different purpose altogether.

You can check the market to find players who are willing to sell Frontier Tokens.
