How to Unlock the Resurrección Boss
I recommend joining the fight after reaching level 40. Even though you will unlock Resurrection progression at level 30, there are some objectives that you can only complete at level 35. Once you reach level 40, all you need to do is continue following the main story quests and side quests, as well as the activities on the mission board.
Along the way, continue to fight enemies to earn Meditation EXP, after which you can start meditating to unlock the Inner World. You need to repeat the above steps to find the boss’s room. Once you get the objective to “Clear the Fog”, your progression within the Inner World will be easier. Do not ignore the meditation step and keep doing it.
Resurrección Boss Fight Guide
The fight has three stages, and the Resurreccion boss type will take the form of the Hollow type you picked during the tutorial. But, for the sake of the fight, it doesn’t matter what you picked, as the fight tactics will remain the same. Once you enter the boss arena, look around for glowing red eyes and follow them. Equip your preferred weapon first, then speak to the Hollow once you find it to be teleported to the arena.
Phase 1 – Fishbone

As soon as you load in, jump back and avoid the roar attack from the boss. Then, when the boss gets close, parry the oncoming attack by waiting for the boss to strike you, then lift your weapon to push it away. After you parry, follow that up with a weapon hit, but don’t spam. Hit once and parry again, or you might miss their attack.
You could also attack when they have their arms lifted. Soon, you will spot a yellow icon appear over their head. When that happens, dodge behind them and hit them. Rinse and repeat the above steps several times until their health drops, which unlocks Phase 2.
Phase 2 – Menos

In the Menos stage, the boss has three basic moves. The boss will release a Cero Beam that can’t be dodged or parried. The boss will also stomp down alternatively, which can be parried. And lastly, the boss will attempt an AoE stomp move and will have a red hitbox around it.
I recommend emptying your posture bar before the fight so you don’t lose your health and posture. Time your parry in a way that when the foot stays suspended for a bit, draw your weapon to block, then immediately get two swipes in before it uses the other foot to stomp.
I would also suggest holding down the S key while attacking so you can dodge out of the way while still landing hits. So your attack steps will go:
- Hold S
- Use M1 x2
- Parry or block
Phase 3 – Adjuchas
This round is similar to Fishbone, with two additional attacks. At the start of the fight, rush backways to avoid the roar, then dodge out of the way to avoid the cero beam. Whenever the boss has a purple glow on them, dodge out of the way to avoid the beam.
Then get up close and parry three times while timing the boss’s fist while it is right above you. After the third parry, hit it once, then repeat the steps. You should also attack him when he is blocking to bring his posture up. Do these steps 6 – 8 times to break his guard.
He will have a yellow icon above him similar to round one, so dash behind him and land some hits. The rest of the fight just involves the same steps. Keep doing this several more times until you defeat it and complete the match.
