Fatekeeper – How to Get the Everice Blade

By Kirthana KJune 5, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • You can get the Everice Blade after unlocking the Forgotten Halls.
    • The blade is located within the building of the starting area.
    • The Everice Blade is a two-handed sword that offers Ice Resistance.

Fatekeeper offers some stronger weapons hidden within the starting areas of the game. The Everice Blade is one of those weapons, but finding it is a task in itself. Once you start scaling the Forgotten Halls, you will find this blade hidden deep within the region.

    Visiting the Forgotten Halls

If you had missed out on the Everice Blade the first time while exploring the Forgotten Halls, then you can always go back if you have a previous save file from this location. By starting out at the campfire at the Viewpoint in Forgotten Hall, I could get to the Everice Blade quicker than using the second campfire within the Ruins Reservoir. But if you haven’t saved your game at the campfire, then visit the Map room at your base and select the Forgotten Halls to teleport there.

    Finding the Everice Blade

Once you load into the area, jump down and follow along the right side of the path to find some planks to jump across to. Climb up on the platform on your left to enter the Forgotten Hall, then continue down the hallway. You will encounter enemies in and outside the hall, so kick and use your best weapons and spells to take them down. Keep exploring the halls to find a gate leading you out to the courtyard.

After the cutscene ends, defeat the enemies here by pushing them into the spiked cube or by using your weapons and spells. Once the area is clear, look up at the rafters to find a wooden plank with several wooden barrels on it. It’s found to the left of the entrance of the courtyard. To get up there, walk around the area until you find a flight of stairs going up.

Once you reach the top, head to the right of the hallway until you reach the area where the barrels are. Simply walk across the plank to get to the other side. Go straight ahead and unlock the chest to get some random loot, then go right and jump down the hole.

Explore the tunnel to find a path that leads you to an area with bright blue light. Investigate the area to collect the Everice Blade.

    FAQs

What does the Everice Blade do?

The Everice Blade offers +10% Ice Resistance and 45 Ice Damage. It costs 5x attack and dash stats to use.

Is the Everice Blade the best blade in the game?

If you are going for a pure ice build and are okay with a weapon that offers medium speed, then the Everice Blade will be right up your alley. It is a pretty good weapon to use while navigating the Forgotten Halls.

The plank to get across was destroyed. What do I do?

If the plank has been broken down, then your only option is to get some distance, sprint ahead, jump, and dash midair to the other side.
