How to Complete the Scarecrow Scavenging Quest
The trek to locating all the buried treasures can be difficult, so preparing yourself before this journey is important. Get a shovel, anti-poison potions, and your best equipment. Then, head to the western section of Fractured Plains. After locating the waterfalls, climb to the upper cliffs to find the scarecrow at the cliff edge near a table.
Pick up the note on the table to read it, then interact with the scarecrow to get a treasure chest key. The dig site for the first scarecrow is quite simple to find, as it is right in front of the scarecrow itself. This is where my tip of getting a shovel with you comes in handy. Use the shovel on the dig site to pull up the Scarecrow’s Treasure Map.
Buried Treasure Location #1
If you check the treasure map, you will find a drawing of the location where the treasure is buried. I immediately recognised the drawing’s location. Head northwest of Stormtouched Highlands and look for a large archway that leads to an obelisk surrounded by a skeleton. Right in front of the archway is where you need to dig to get the next clue.
Buried Treasure Location #2
The second treasure map indicates that you need to go to Bloodblight Swamp. In the southern section of the region, you will find the image depicted on the map. As I mentioned earlier, you need to carry a couple of anti-poison potions to safely traverse this area. The second dirt mound is found right next to the large rock in front of the archway.
Buried Treasure Location #3
The final treasure pit is located at Fractured Plains. Head southwest of the obelisk in the region and make your way to the very top of the mountain. You will spot a unique rock embedded in the area, and a wooden bench. Beside the wooden bench is another note on the ground, but what you need to focus more on is the dig site right behind the bench. Use your shovel to dig it up and collect the treasure chest.
