How to Sell Items in Windrose
If you are looking for an easy way to clear your inventory and get some money at the same time, then selling your items is the way to go. While hovering over some of the items in your inventory, you will find that some of them will mention that they can be sold.
The only way to sell your items is to find Buyers within the 4 Faction outposts. To know which items to sell where, head back to your inventory. Hover over each item to know which specific trader will accept the item. Early in the game, the first traders who are willing to purchase your items are the Smugglers of Port Royal.
How to Unlock Smugglers
Smugglers will accept most items in your inventory, and they are found early in the game. You need to progress through the main story quests until you complete the Smugglers quest and the Underground Network quest. This will introduce you to the island of Tortuga, and you will find the Smuggler’s Hideout. Head inside and speak to the Buyer to sell your items.
How to Unlock Other Faction Buyers
First, you need to uncover the faction outpost before you gain access to the buyer. You will uncover most of the faction outposts by following the main quests. If you are like me and love a bit of an adventure, you could just set sail and find them on your own via exploration.
After locating the faction, head inside the outpost and find the faction’s Buyer. Once you interact with them, the items that are specifically sold to that particular faction will appear in the sell menu. Select the items you wish to sell and collect Piastres in exchange.
