How to Craft Uranium Ingots and Deliver Rod Exotics in Icarus
I had to take extra precautions in crafting Uranium Ingots as they are a radioactive material. Before looking for Uranium, craft the following items:

Below are the steps I used to find and deliver Uranium ingots:
- Place the Polymerizer in your base, then add an ample amount of oil to it to craft 30x Plastics. Once complete, craft a Nuclear Centrifuge using the items listed above.
- Place the Nuclear Centrifuge in your inventory, as you need to explore the map to gather Uranium.
- Craft an anti-radiation hazmat suit (using) to protect yourself from radiation. If not equipped, you will incur damage while mining uranium. Also craft an anti-radiation tonic using. This will cleanse your blood and cells from radiation.
- While there might be more, I found uranium at the two locations marked below. Head over to either of the locations to collect raw uranium. You’ll know you are near when you start to see green radioactive smoke there.
- At the locations, defeat the various creatures to collect raw uranium. The game will mark them with the radioactive modifier icon to signal you. I personally found Spectre and Revenant to have a high raw uranium drop rate.
- Place your Nuclear Centrifuge while connecting it to a power supply and water supply to craft uranium ingots. I would recommend placing the Nuclear Centrifuge outside your base, as the area will become radioactive due to uranium.
- You will get an Inert Uranium ingot, Radioactive waste from running uranium through the Nuclear Centrifuge. To get a Uranium Rod, mix 500x Water with 5x Raw Uranium.
- Once you have crafted ample Uranium Rods to supply, head over to your Advanced Orbital Exchange Interface to call a supply rocket. Place the Uranium Rods in the Delivery Pod Cargo to deliver them to the station.

How do you protect yourself from radiation while farming Uranium in Icarus?
You should equip an Anti-Radiation Hazmat Suit and carry Anti-Radiation Tonics. These reduce radiation buildup and prevent the damage you take when mining or carrying radioactive materials.
Can the Nuclear Centrifuge be placed inside your base?
It is technically possible, but not recommended. Running uranium through the centrifuge creates radioactive waste that can contaminate the surrounding area.
