Key Points
- The game has six different characters, each with their own unique weapons and armor.
- The Character’s Career experience of one character doesn’t get shared with others; you will have to manually play each character to level them up in the game.
- With proper gear and Pacts, you will halve the farming time for Character Career level-ups.
While upgrading all six characters in the game might seem like a chore, R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program does offer excellent tools to make it easier. While the experience of one character progression doesn’t carry over to others, weapons and armor, thankfully, do, and that makes a big difference.
R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program – Character Career Level Up
| Highest Level Up | Level 40 |
| Characters | Philomel/ Claire/ Mors/ Katerina/ Luna |
| Estimate Time | Under 10 hours |

The weapons and armor from Tier 1 to Tier 3 get shared between characters, so handing the equipment to another character will help them farm experience points much more easily than going into the run naked.
Gaining Character Career EXP
Before you start farming for other characters, the very first thing you should keep in mind is to equip the character with the best sets along with the best Divine Pacts.
#1. Equipping Proper Armor and Weapon

You can think about wearing almost any set, as long as it provides good defence and offence to last Risk Level 6 scenarios. Tier 3 Mythic sets are perfect for running a map on Risk Level 6. Defeating both bosses on the map at Risk Level 6 will garner a great amount of Character Career EXP gain.
Note: Playing any map on Risk Level 6 helps us gain a bonus Character Career EXP gain of 700%.
So you must unlock a map on Risk Level 6, and all other characters will be able to access the map from the start. The first playthrough is going to be a tough one, compared to the latter runs.
#2. Choosing the Right Divine Pact

No sets, including Mythic, have an attribute that gives any bonus towards Character Career EXP gain. The Divine Pact is the only item in the game that offers more Character Career EXP gain.
Divine Pact: Harvest Pact
It’s the only Pact in the game that offers a 30% increase to Character Career EXP and Credits gain. You will need to use the Pact onGoggles, Chip, and Wristband. Take a look at our guide to quickly learn about usage of Pacts in R.I.P.
Defeating any boss on Swamp, Desert, Frostfields at Risk Level 6 will drop the Pact. Another way to include finishing the Headhunt Assault (Boss Hunt). Running a Headhunt Assault is the best way to gain a pact, but you will need 1x Corrupted Crystal to enter.
Note: Corrupted Crystal can be farmed by defeating bosses at Risk Level 6 on any map.
That’s it, now your build is ready to gain the most out of any combat arena in the R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program.
FAQs
What is the difference between EXP gain vs. Character Career EXP gain?
Many sets will have EXP gain as an attribute, but they are designed to gain levels in-game to get skills. They will not play a role in the actual character career EXP. The common EXP gain is to help you get skills more quickly while in combat.

Currently, Divine Pact: Harvest Gain offers 30% EXP increase to Character Career EXP gain. Making it the best Pact to use before start farming for EXP in game.
Does level up EXP get shared between characters in R.I.P.?
Unfortunately, no, you must play each character manually to level them up in R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program. But the good news is the weapon stored in the safehouse is accessible by other characters. Even if you have a Tier 3 weapon or armor, they can be used by other characters even if they are at Career Level 1.
