How to Unlock the Enemy Base Gate at Mikatagahara Junction

- First, you need to complete the Fated Land quest, which will lead you to the boss fight at Ryotan Temple.
- You will find the temple in the northern section of Iinoya.
- Once the quest is completed and the boss is defeated, you will find Ii Naotora standing near the entryway of the boss arena.
- Speak to her here, and she will inform you that she is returning to Hamamatsu Castle.
- Fast travel to Hamamatsu Castle Keep in the Hamamatsu region and speak to Ii Naotora beside the shrine.
- She will hand over the Mountain Temple Key and will request you to kill all the yokais and a powerful enemy beyond the gate, which starts the Ii’s Memento quest.
- Head back to Mikatagahara Junction and use the key on the locked gate to gain access.
