How to Start the Rat in Buddha Fort Wandering Tale
You need to make your way to Sundara Land in Qinghe to find Wan Guan. You can find this particular NPC near Outpost: Buddha Fort. The nearest waystone is the Buddha Fort waystone. From the waystone, head northeast towards the outpost. Once you reach the outpost, look around for a lone NPC and speak to them to start the quest.
The quest requires you to locate four different charms for him and hand them over. Luckily, all four charms are found in the southern section of the quest location. But the main challenge appears trying to actually find them all. For an easier way to locate all 4 charms, here is the list below.
Mercy Monastery Charm Location
The first charm is found inside the pot to the left of Wan Guan, near the wooden ladder.
Fahua Temple Charm Location
Travel south from your previous location, just a bit northwest of the pitch-pot mini-game. You will reach Wildmane Ranch. Scale the watchtower and keep an eye out for the second charm somewhere in the middle floors of the watchtower.
Miaoshan Monk Charm Location
Just east of the watchtower is a cave entrance. Sneak past the enemies guarding the entrance and head down the stairs. At the end of the cave is an explosive barrel. Use your bow and arrow to shoot it down from a distance. This will reveal a secret room with the third charm inside.
Yongfu Temple Charm Location
Travel east from Buddha Fort waypoint until you find a pool of water. It is south of the archery mini-game. Hop into the water and investigate the rock here to collect the fourth charm. Return to Wan Guan and hand over all the charms to complete the quest.

Enter the cave to the east of the watchtower and use your bow and arrow on the explosive barrel inside the cave to reveal a secret room with the charm inside.
