Sometimes it’s easy to skip over some of the dialogs in Neverness to Everness and get to the good parts. But in the process, you will miss out on some important information. If you are rushing through with the Lonely Player quest, then you might have accidentally used the Cheese camera anomaly for something other than taking a picture of the invisible puppet.

How to Get Another Camera
While going through the Lonely Player quest, you will interact with the Occult Club Student to know more about the Cheese anomaly. You need to locate the student around the school and answer their three questions correctly. Once done, he will hand over the Cheese anomaly, which is a one-time-use camera. You need to use this camera to locate the next puppet for the quest.
Now, if you were curious like me and decided to use the camera beforehand, you will find the Cheese anomaly gone from your inventory. This did put me in a twist, since I had no way of progressing through the next set of quests. Speaking to the Occult Student didn’t help either, as he didn’t have spare anomalies to hand out.
How to Get the Puppet Without Cheese
Luckily, there is a glitch that will help you detect the next puppet, even if you don’t have the Cheese on you. First, assign Adler to your party, then switch to him. After that, walk down the corridor where you need to use Cheese to get the photo of the missing puppet. Stand in the middle of the corridor where you suspect the puppet to appear.
In a while, you will find Adler being pushed around. Wait for a while and don’t move when this happens. At some point, a puppet will appear on the floor, and you can claim it for the quest. If you haven’t felt anything push Adler yet, stand near the already broken puppet on the floor and spam some of his skills. Eventually, the puppet that you need to recruit will appear.
If none of these tips worked, then the best thing you could do is select the Unstuck option. To find this option, click on the phone icon at the top of the screen and click on the three dots next to your profile name. Select the Unstuck button, and hopefully the missing puppet will appear before you.
