007 First Light – How To Save The Captives

By Kirthana KMay 27, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Rescuing the captives is the last objective for the Against the Odds quest.
    • You need to locate the captives within containers B4 and G9.
    • It is recommended to use stealth while completing this mission objective.

Each mission in 007 First Light offers some complex quest objectives to complete. Sometimes, you might have to engage in hand-to-hand combat or refine your stealth skills to complete the mission. If you wish to save the captives during the Against the Odds mission, then you need to pick your battles wisely.

How to Search Containers B4 And G9

The final leg of the Against the Odds mission is to rescue the captives contained within sections B4 and G9. This objective occurs right after finding the antidote and following the guards to the hostage camp site. While sneaking around, you will find marked containers with a letter and a number on the walls.

The easiest and closest container that I could find was the G9 container. To find it, from your starting position, go through the passage within the hill on your left. As you keep going, you will find the G9 container on your right. Make your way to the back of the container while taking down any enemies.

I preferred to use stealth while navigating this area. Then, enter the G9 container from the back and take down the enemy inside. Collect the keys from his body and use them on the locked door. Free the captives inside, then exit the container through the front main door.

Right after you exit, interact with the computer on your left to distract the guards in the area. This will give you enough time to freely roam the location to find the next container. Go through the ditch on your right and climb back up after reaching the wooden bridge overhead. Continue down the road ahead, past the guards, to find container B4.

Now, this container is heavily guarded, so what I would like to do is take cover behind the crates and make my way a bit ahead. While in front of the container, there would be an ATV. Activating the ATV will alert all the guards nearby to come and check out the commotion, leaving you free to quickly sneak up to the front door. Take down the enemy inside and free the captives to complete the mission objective.

    FAQs

Do I need any equipment for this mission objective?

If you are going headfirst into this mission and plan on using brute force to tackle all the enemies here, then some weapons like the Combat Shotgun or the Standard Assault Rifle will come in clutch.

Can I enter the G9 container from the front entrance?

You could also go through the front entrance if you are not playing stealth, as the front entrance is guarded by a lot of enemies, to successfully pass through without drawing attention.

Do I need to follow this order of events to rescue the captives?

No, you can visit either of the two containers in any order, but going to G9 first will be easier than the other
