How to Raise Mii Happiness
A Mii’s happiness should be your priority after creating them, and there are a few ways to keep their spirits up.
Gifting

Giving Miis what they want is an effective way to increase their happiness. Items such as clothes or those related to their favorite hobbies keep them engaged. By checking a Mii’s profile, it is possible to note their preferences, making it easier to offer appropriate gifts.
Petting
The game gives an option to pet Miis on the head and provide physical affection. While this does help increase happiness, I found it just a tiny bit more helpful than other methods. Regardless, this is the only method in the game where you don’t have to splurge any money to keep them happy.
Feeding

Providing the right kind of food to your Miis is a great way to boost their happiness tenfold. Initially, it would be hard to decipher which meals a Mii would prefer, so there’s some trial and error to do here. But once you figure out what your Mii likes to eat the most, continue to feed their preferred dish to increase happiness. I found this to be the best and fastest method to reach the happiness goals of my Miis.
Solving Problems
Sometimes, while interacting with your Miis, they will voice problems and personal issues. Solving them will moderately increase their happiness. The more you check in on them regularly, the happier they will feel. will feel. You could also help them during events while checking out the overworld. Keep an eye out for purple icons appearing over a Mii and interact with them quickly to solve their problem.
Why Raise Happiness
Raising your Miis’ happiness is a great way to level them up. The more they level up, the more options unlock for you. This is especially helpful in giving them basic gifts and unlocking customization options. At level 10, you get to give them two new unique gifts: pocket money and clothes. With these, you can increase their happiness even more and level them up faster.
