Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is all about assessing incoming zombie survivors and determining if they are fit to be sent to camp. Besides inspecting the NPCs, you will also be in charge of handling rogue zombies for research purposes. That’s where the Hi, Doggy quest comes in, where you are introduced to the zombie cage for the first time.

Step #1 – Go to Quarantine
After the Major’s briefing, once the day starts, head over to the Quarantine zone to find a trapped zombie. Interact with the structure to learn more about your task. Then, press E to send the zombie to the cage to get the next objective.
Step #2 – Go to the cage
I had to head out to the Laboratory section to find the cage. Once outside the lab tent, enter it and take a sharp right to find the cage with the zombie inside. Your next task now is to feed it, so exit the tent to find some dead bodies in the liquidation area.
Step #3 – Take the corpse to the cage
First, I had to position the cart in the Liquidation zone within the marked area beside the pile of body bags. Then, pick up one body bag, load it into the cart, and head back to the laboratory tent. After parking the cart next to the cage, get close to the body bag to get the interaction button. Press E to toss the body into the cage to feed the zombie, thus completing the quest.

I can’t seem to pick a body bag from the liquidation zone. What am I missing?
You need to pull out the cart beside the pile of bodies and park it within the striped area on the floor to load a body into it.
How do I feed the zombie?
Take a dead body from the liquidation zone and make your way to the cage. Right outside the cage, look at the floor for a marked area and park the cart on it. Walk up to the body to get the interact button to toss the body inside the cage.
My zombie randomly disappeared after completing the quest. What happened?
It could be a bug, so restart the game to check whether the quest has actually been completed.
How do I earn Research Points from this?
By sending the zombies to the science division after an evacuation, you will receive random rewards and Research Points to spend on your skill tree.
