How to Get Stars
Stars are a secondary currency that is awarded to you while completing the various tasks in the game. I couldn’t figure out when stars got awarded, but I would get them randomly if I had correctly placed a set number of items.
You could get them after stacking 50 items correctly, or you could get them if you had placed several of the same items in a row on the correct shelf. There are no fixed methods to earn stars, as long as you stack the shelves. You can check your current Star amount by looking at the top left corner.
How to Use Stars
At first, I couldn’t figure out what the stars are used for and ended up collecting quite a large amount. It wasn’t until way later that I figured it out after standing in front of the ATM machine. There are three ATM machines near the fruit stand, and each machine will require different amounts of Stars. Here are the descriptions of all the ATMs and what they do.

What Does the ATM Do
You need to use the ATM to collect stickers. Depending on which ATM you use, your chances of obtaining a sticker will vary. Stickers are a great way to get random boosts, like extra gold, special skills, and more. Once you get a sticker, it will automatically be added to the sticker book.
You can press the Esc key and toggle through the options on the right to find the sticker page. Once you get a sticker, its boosts will be automatically applied to your current game. When you start a new run, you need to collect a new set of stickers to get the boosts.

Will I get new stickers each run?
No, the stickers that you get in the game are fixed, so you will get the same stickers each time you use the ATM.
Which ATM is best to use?
It depends on the amount of stars collected. If you own a lot of stars, you can quickly get a sticker by using the Faaancy ATM. But if you own limited stars, then you can try to gamble with the other two ATMs available.
Are stickers necessary?
It depends on whether you like the stats of the stickers obtained. But since there are no other uses for Stars, you can easily use them up at the ATM.
