Burglin’ Gnomes – How to Get Grabble

By Kirthana KJune 14, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Grabble is an important crafting resource used to create various items.
    • You can gather grabble by breaking down items that are made of wood, stone, paper, and organic materials.
    • You will mostly find items that can turn into grabble all around the inside of the house.

In Burglin’ Gnomes, you need to find various materials to help you craft better weapons and equipment. These materials can also help improve your base, and if you wish to unlock all the new recipes, you need to farm a lot of materials. One of the main materials you might have a hard time getting is grabble.

    Grabble Gathering Preparation

Before you go on and jump into a match to gather grabble, I recommend getting the backpack upgrade and unlocking 2 extra inventory slots. The backpack can be crafted if you have 2x Scags, which you can get by collecting random cloth scraps around the house. Once you have a backpack, it will also help to craft a pickaxe. I crafted 2 pickaxes, since they are not that durable. You will require 3x clonk and 1x plasto to craft 1x pickaxe.

Now that you are ready, you can hop into a match on any map. Make your way inside the house and look for items made out of the following:

    • Wood
    • Stone
    • Paper
    • Organic material

For wood, I found a large wooden crate in the kitchen’s pantry. I had to break it down using a pickaxe to gather gravel from it. I could also find a wooden knife stand on the kitchen counter that could be broken down into pieces. While scavenging around, I picked up a lot of organic scraps like fruits and vegetables that contributed to growing my grabble resources.

As for paper materials, I was lucky to find a book in the living room, and I used my pickaxe on it to turn it into a grabble. While raiding the pantry and the kitchen, I could find tin cans that, when broken down, turned into grabble. Besides this, I tried my luck breaking down the kitchen cabinet doors and dragging them outside to be turned into garbage.

If you are confused about what items turn into grabble, then just use your pickaxe to break down anything you find. Even if you don’t get grabble, you will get other useful items like plasto, clonk, and other crafting materials.

    FAQs

    What is Grabble used for?

If you check the Well of Creation, you will find that several weapons, furniture, and base upgrades will require grabble.

How much grabble do I need to collect per match?

There is no fixed amount or limit to the number of grabbles you need to collect, unless you get a task that specifies how many grabbles to get.

Can I hand items to Bob instead of using a pickaxe to break items down?

Yes, if you can carry it over the window or main doorway, Bob can help carry the items down to the hub.
