How to Get Car Batteries
You will find car batteries from any vehicle in the overworld. Head up to a vehicle and interact with it to find car batteries. Destroying vehicles will also drop car batteries. If you can’t find any this way, then use your radio to call a trader; sometimes they do sell car batteries. Besides this, raiding garages and auto stores tends to have car batteries stashed away inside crates and cabinets.
How to Charge Car Batteries
Head into the build menu and build a generator and the battery changing kit. After placing the generator down, place the battery charging kit within the generator’s radius. Interact with the battery charger and place your empty battery. It will take several minutes to charge it, and you get to check the progress by interacting with the charging kit. Once done, pick it up and store it in your inventory, then place it inside your required car.
