Key Points
- You can move Pokémon between habitats by interacting with them.
- Select the Follow Me option during the interaction to have them move with you.
- After placing them in their new habitat, you can tell them to move in here permanently.
Since Pokémon Pokopia is mostly a building sim with Pokémon, you need to provide your new friends with their own homes. Each Pokémon has a requirement on how and where they choose to live. Sometimes, it just makes sense to relocate Pokémon to a new habitat rather than building another home for them, but how to do this isn’t clearly mentioned in the tutorials.

How to Move Pokémon

Walk up to any Pokémon at your base and interact with them. Then, in the speech options, select Follow Me. Your Pokémon will now trail behind you, so walk over to any new habitat and speak to the Pokémon again. You will find an option to ask them to move here.
They will ask you if this is their new home. To confirm your choice, when the next set of dialog appears, select the “Yes, It Is” option. Or select the No option if you wish to change their location once more. You get to repeat this step with any Pokémon as many times as you wish.
