Monster Hunter Stories 3 – How to Synchro Rush

    By Kirthana KMarch 13, 2026Updated:July 21, 20262 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • You can trigger Synchro Rush whenever you stagger a monster.
    • Enabling Synchro Rush will command your party to auto-attack the monster.
    • Synchro Rush is not recommended for use in certain situations.

MHS3 introduced a couple of new moveset to learn and apply in the game. With the introduction of the Synchro Rush, you can still continue to fight monsters even if your stamina is drained. But this action does come with limitations, so you need to learn how to properly utilize this move before trying it out.

    MHS3 – Synchro Rush Overview

    When to useAfter staggering monsters
    What it doesAuto-attacks monster
    Level requirementNone

    How to Perform Synchro Rush

The Synchro Rush option appears after toppling or staggering a monster. To topple or stagger a monster, you need to reduce its Stock or Wyvernsoul Gauge to zero. Once done, you will get a prompt to use the Synchro Rush move. You can either select it or ignore it.

    When to Use Synchro Rush

For me, I’ve used Synchro Rush whenever I’m all out of options. When my stamina has hit zero and I can’t use skills anymore, my next best bet was to activate Synchro Rush to continue the battle. However, if you have stamina left or if you wish to heal anytime soon, then using Synchro Rush may not be the best option.

    How Synchro Rush Works

Synchro Rush will enable auto-battle for everyone in your team, so they take turns to deal damage. This is a great skill to use if you don’t want to lose the battle but don’t have stamina left. The amount of damage dealt is similar to using skills and status ailments, so it won’t make much of a difference if using Synchro Rush instead of skills. Plus, Synchro Rush doesn’t take turns, unlike regular skills.

    FAQs

Will companions without hearts participate in Synchro Rush?

No, companions without hearts cannot participate if Synchro Rush is active.

Will Synchro Rush raise the kinship of my companions?

Yes, using Synchro Rush is similar to using skills, and you will gain kinship from it.

Will my stamina gauge reset if I use Synchro Rush?

Yes, your stamina gauge will reset, but after completing Synchro Rush.
