The most challenging part of the Blood Hunt mode is finding the secret boss in Marvel Rivals. This section is quite easy to miss, as the game doesn’t explain how to get to the boss. There are a few prerequisites to complete first, after which you will come face to face with the Kingpin.

Things to Do Before Unlocking Kingpin
The Kingpin is available in Blood Hunt mode after unlocking the Extreme difficulty. If you haven’t done so, play a match in Normal and Hard difficulties to unlock it. Once you have that down, go through the Extreme difficulty levels just enough to collect all the gear in the level. You don’t have to complete the matches, and once you have your ideal gear in your inventory, you can quit the match by dying.
Then, scrap all the gear you don’t want and use it to level up your preferred gear. It is best to have gear at level 16 – level 24 for the fight. After that, work on leveling up your preferred hero and unlocking traits. Work through the traits until you can branch out to the gold and blue tiers and unlock them, too. I preferred playing with Moon Knight for the Kingpin fight, but Punisher and Squirrel Girl are great picks too.
How to Unlock Kingpin
Start the Blood Hunt mode and make it to Phase 4. If you look at the top right corner, you will find 3 key symbols. These keys represent challenges that you need to clear in subsequent levels.
Challenge 1 – Break the Barrier
In Stage 4, once you get on the bridge, go to the end of it and break down the barrier while ignoring all the minions. After breaking it down, all the minions will disappear, and you will come face-to-face with the Capwolf boss. Defeat the boss and continue through the levels.
Challenge 2 – Destroy the Bloodclot Buds
Once you reach Phase 7, you will be tasked with defending the area and destroying Bloodclot Buds. I had a really hard time trying to find the large red flower, as it’s always hidden behind structures and objects. The time limit didn’t help either, so I set my priority to find the flower first before attacking enemies. After finding it, destroy the flower and survive the rest of the round.
Challenge 3 – Destroy the Blood Crystals
At Phase 12, you will get the final challenge objective: destroy the Blood Crystals. The Blood Crystals will spawn randomly across the area, and you have 2 minutes to track them down and destroy them. If you can’t find them, respawn and redo the level once more. After that, you will be led to the Dracula boss fight. Defeat Dracula to unlock the secret Kingpin boss.
How to Beat Kingpin
In my opinion, defeating Kingpin was much easier than dealing with Dracula. The key point here is to keep moving around the Kingpin to avoid his attacks. The Kingpin won’t move around too much, but he will use ranged beam attacks to hit you from a distance. Also, he will occasionally spawn a bubble around him that will detonate and deal AoE damage.
If you see the bubble appear, take cover behind the dumpsters and wait for the explosion. Besides these attacks, he will follow you around and try to hit you, or dash towards you if you are too far away. Most of them are avoided by dodging out of the way, hence why you should stay on the move. Continue to do this until the boss is dead and ends the mode.

You will unlock an achievement for “Defeat the Hidden Boss in Extreme for the First Time”, which will give you the Kingpin Dethroned accessory. You can find the accessory under the Achievements page.
How do I get the Kingpin Dethroned Trophy?
You need to clear Nightmare 60, 80, 100, and 120. Each time you do, you will earn accessory shards in the Achievements page. Once you get 100 shards, select the Prepare option in the main menu and select the Craft Accessory option to craft the Kingpin Dethroned Trophy.
