There are a few different bosses added to Season 15 of Diablo 4. Now, you can try your luck by killing the new fishy boss called Mefishto. Doing so will increase your chances of obtaining a new unique armor piece that will help increase your fishing yield. But the steps to find Mefishto are quite long and aren’t a very easy task at all.
How to Find Mefishto Boss
Mefishto shouldn’t be confused with the Lord of Hatred boss, Mephisto, as this boss is completely different. Mefishto is a unique fish boss in Diablo 4 that drops a valuable chest armor, and if you are looking to add more armor pieces to your collection, then you can’t let go of this.
To start, you need to get your fishing gear and go fishing for legendary or unique fish types. You will require 10 of them and make sure that you don’t collect any mythic fish. I suggest keeping a mix of legendary and unique fish, as it doesn’t matter if you catch all legendary or all unique types.
The quantity of each fish type doesn’t matter either, so you can capture the same fish type several times for the quest, as long as you have 10 fish of the required tier. You can also work with other players to catch fish quickly. That way, you can complete the fishing aspect of the task much faster and work towards summoning Mefishto in Diablo 4.
Obtaining the Torn Net
Then, visit the Horadric Cube at Temis, Skovos, which can be unlocked after completing the main quest in Lord of Hatred called No Gods, No Masters. Then, select all the fish in your inventory and add them to the cube to transmute them. This will give you the Torn Net quest item and a system message that tells you something about your stench.
Best Fishing Spot
There are two confirmed locations where the Mefishto boss has a higher chance of spawning. The first location is in the southern section of Philios, Skovos. To the right side of the bridge that connects to Cetos island, you will spot two rock-like formations. At the intersection between the rocky formation and the land jutting out is where you need to start fishing.
The second best location is right across from your previous location, directly opposite on Cetos Island. Again, the boss does have a higher chance to spawn here, but it is not always guaranteed. I recommend exploring the rest of the map and finding hostile water bodies. That means that wherever you find enemies near the water, you should try your luck to fish here.
Also, patience is key here, as the boss won’t appear at first. It could take several hours of fishing to find Mefishto, so I suggest teaming up and trying together.
