How to Start the Boreas Questline
Completing the Boreas questline grants access to the new Icebreaker map. Before beginning, you need to find a way to start the questline, which initially offers little guidance about where to go or what actions to take.
Poster Locations

It wasn’t until I started combing through the Ground Zero map thoroughly that I encountered a strange poster on the wall. The poster in question is the one about the TerraGroup Paradigm shipping poster. I found one such poster near the entrance to the TerraGroup parking garage, right beside the ATM. But there is a chance they may appear in other areas as well, especially inside and around the TerraGroup main building and garage.

Also, the posters are not restricted to just the Ground Zero map, as you can find them across the Lighthouse, Custom, and Factory maps too. If you are in Lighthouse, you might find them within the warehouse in the Freight Yard. Check the walls next to the many doorways to find a poster.

In the Factory map, visit the Office building and make your way to the first floor to find a poster on one of the pillars. As for the Customs map, you might find a poster on the first floor of the laboratory, or on the outer cabin wall located on top of a hill, just southwest of the gas station. Once you have the poster, exfil with it to start the quest.
Other Ways to Start the Quest

If you can’t find the poster on any of the maps mentioned, I later found out that the Flea Market does sell these posters. If you don’t have the Flea Market unlocked, all you need to do is reach level 15. The price of the poster will vary, depending on how much a player sells it for, so it’s always worth it to check the Flea Market frequently if you don’t want to go scavenging for the poster.
And finally, the last method to start the quest doesn’t require a poster at all. All you need is to have the Intelligence Center Level 3. Once you have that, visit the Hideout in the main menu. After loading in, interact with the radio on the desk to get a distress signal, which is another way to start the quest.
