Each time a new event graces Arc Raiders, you will be tasked with finding its trinkets to earn points. This time around, you have to locate ship models, and each ship model type offers different merit points. The hardest part is finding them, which is a task in itself.

Ship Models Explained
Ship Models are the new trinkets to find around the maps of Arc Raiders. Collecting them will give you merit points, and there are 5 different Ship Model varieties to find. The higher the tier of the ship model, the more points you can earn. The only downside is that higher-level ship models are also the rarest to get.
The only way to find ship models is through RNG while scavenging the map. The best part is that these ships spawn more often in selected areas. I had the most luck finding them in residential areas, such as villages and apartment blocks, across all maps. If you are out raiding the new Riven Tides map, I spotted a few within Hotel Panorama Azzuro.
Ship Models Spawn Locations
Checking inside buildings isn’t the only spawn point where ship models will appear. They can also appear out in the open. What I did to increase my chances was to check chairs, tables, and lockers for them. Even if I couldn’t get a ship model, I could still find other useful items and trinkets inside it. Lockers are commonly found inside hospitals and libraries, so check out those locations to find ship models.
Besides this, if you have a Dockmaster’s Detector, scanning the shorelines during the Beachcombing Minor Map event is also a great way to find hidden treasures. These may wield a ship model, so it won’t hurt to try it.
Tips to Find Ship Models
- Load into a match as early as possible to increase your chances of finding loot.
- Combining the area with friends will give you a better outcome of finding ship models.
- The lesser the load in your backpack, the faster you can run to find loot.
- Once you find a ship model, use the nearest extraction point to leave and turn it into merits.
